Le Refuge Restaurant, Plagne Centre

The oldest restaurant in La Plagne

Featured in:

| Updated

This is one of the oldest restaurants in La Plagne, with great ambience and plenty of Savoyard character.

Grilled meats are one of their speciality dishes and each table has a copper hood suspended above it so that diners can grill their own meat at the table. As well as sit down meals they also have a takeaway snack service with a wide range of sandwiches and pizzas.

Serving a range of typical French dishes, the restaurant is open for lunch and dinner. The adjoining bar is open until 02:00. Open throughout the year.

  • "We went with 4 adults and 3 kids and had a lovely meal. Sirloin steaks were a good size and the 'cook your own meat on a hot stone' was plentiful and accompanied by tasty potatoes and salad. We all left full and happy, and the service was good." - Trip Advisor
  • "We had a family meal in the Refuge, the service was very prompt (tired kids in tow) and the food was excellent. The Hot stone cooking was a hit with the children as was the Cheese Fondue, the restaurant has a nice feel to it, with a small bar in the corner. Prices are very reasonable!" - Trip Advisor
  • "Lovely looking restaurant in Plagne Centre but very popular so need to book. Cheese fondue with cepes and cognac was amazing!! Steaks-huge. Could have easily shared one." - Trip Advisor
