When looking at timetables be aware that they're in French so L = Lundi / Monday, M = Mardi / Tuesday, Me = Mercredi / Wednesday, J = Jeudi / Thursday, V = Vendredi / Friday, S = Samedi/ Saturday & D = Dimanche / Sunday.
The six village resorts of La Plagne are all interlinked by a free cable car or bus service. There are two main free shuttle services. One connects Plagne 1800 to Plagne Bellecôte and Plagne Centre every 15 minutes from 08:30 to 00:50. The other is aimed at cross-country skiers and walkers, running between Les Charmettes, La Roche, the bobsleigh run, Plagne 1800, Plagne Centre and Plagne Aime 2000 every hour from 06:00 to 00:30.
During the school holidays (Christmas, February and Easter), there are also free shuttles between Plagne Soleil and Plagne villages every 15 minutes from 08:35 to 23:45.
There is no direct bus service between Belle Plagne and the other villages in La Plagne. You need to take the Télécabine lift between Belle Plagne and Plagne Bellecôte, which shuts at 23:45, from where you can then take a bus to the other villages. The Télémétro lift links Plagne Centre and Aime 2000 every 5 minutes from around 08:00 to 23:45.
The closest bus station to La Plagne is at Aime, the town at the bottom of the mountain, which is also where you'll arrive if you're coming by train. Bus services stop at Aime, from where you can get another bus to your final La Plagne village destination (see below).
Buses from Chambery airport to La Plagne operate four times per day on Saturdays and once on Sundays during the ski season. It takes around 02h40 hours to get to La Plagne from Chambery, via Aime.
Buses from Lyon airport run on Fridays (once), Saturdays (four times) and Sundays (twice). They take around 2h45 to get to La Plagne via Aime.
Buses from Geneva airport operate every day of the week in winter with six buses on Saturdays, four on Sundays and three on all the other days of the week. This route takes around 2h30.
Buses from Grenoble operate five times per day on Saturdays and once on Sundays in winter. They stop at Aime, the closest bus station to La Plagne, taking 2h00 to get to Aime.
The mainline station for La Plagne is Aime on the valley floor, not to be confused with Aime 2000 up on the mountain. Shuttle buses connect Aime to the various resort villages of La Plagne from mid-December to the end of April. They start at 07:00 and run until around 20:45, taking you to Plagne 1800, Bellecote, Plagne Centre, Plagne Villages / Soleil and Aime 2000. The return trip from La Plagne villages to Aime runs from 07:30 to 19:35.
To access the neighbouring resorts of Montchavin and Les Coches, you need to catch a bus from Landry station, which operates six times on Saturdays and twice on Sundays, in winter. To get to Champagny en Vanoise you can connect from Moutiers.
