La Plagne, 2nd snowiest resort in France
Record-breaking snow depths in resort
There have been some challenging moments in La Plagne this last week but the end result is the resort is currently the 2nd snowiest in the whole of France and snow conditions are about as good as they get.
Pistes are opening out as and when possible but the avalanche rating still remains high at 4 out of 5 and there's a lot of digging out to do following the recent record-breaking snowfall.
With a clearing forecast into next week - and the deepest in-resort snow since records began in 1987 - you really couldn't pick a better time to get booking your trip.
