Three of La Plagne’s Olympic heroes made an unexpected appearance at last night’s Born To Be Show, the annual celebration held by the resort’s Club des Sports. Fresh from their showing at the PyeongChang Games, Olympians Tess Ledeux, Brice Roger and Maxence Muzaton paused for photos before the show got underway in earnest.

Huge crowds had gathered at the Front de Neige in Plagne Centre to watch the demonstrations by the resort’s instructors, rescue teams, lift staff and piste-basher crews. There was also a Big Air session featuring La Plagne’s next generation of up-and-coming talent. The show ended with a fireworks display and raffle - with a car as the top prize.

La Plagne sent more athletes to this year’s Olympics than any other French resort, a testimony to the work, skill and dedication of the Club des Sports and its members. This week, a La Plagne local, Marie Martinod, won silver in the Women’s Olympic Ski Pipe. Now in its 7th year, Born To Be is a celebration of the resort, its home-grown talent and all those who help run the area’s infrastructure.
