This charming Savoyard hotel is located in the heart of Montchavin at an altitude of 1250m and is just a 2-minute walk from the lifts. It provides clean and homely rooms alongside an excellent friendly service.

The hotel has been furnished in traditional style using plenty of wood and bright fabrics to create a warm and welcoming mountain atmosphere.

All their cosy rooms are decorated simply and include balconies giving you a lovely view over the Monchavin village or of the Mountains. All rooms also include an LCD TV with French satellite channels, free WiFi access and a safe.

For those that prefer to self-cater, the hotel also offers a number of different sized apartments that are equipped with their own kitchen and sitting area.

For relaxation after a full day on the mountain, you can look forward to returning to the hotel and unwinding in their wellness centre which includes a jacuzzi, sauna and hammam (steam room). You can also choose to indulge in a selection of facials, treatments and wraps with their in-house beauty therapist.

For kids, there is a specially dedicated playroom with games consoles, board games, books, crayons and paper.

If you are staying at the hotel during the winter months you'll be glad of their ski room with heated boot warmers so you can easily slide on your ski boots each morning and have toasty toes. The ski room has plenty of space to store all your equipment so it doesn't clutter up your living space.

The hotel is open all year round so whether you prefer exploring the mountains on skis and a snowboard or on a mountain bike and by foot, this can be your perfect mountain base.

Worth knowing

The hotel is open for the winter season from mid-December to the end of April and for the summer season between early July and the beginning of September.

The Restaurant

The hotel's restaurant, Le Chaudron, is open daily for dinner from 19:00. It serves all the traditional specialities such as fondue, raclette and tartiflette. There are also a number of other dishes available such as oysters, wild boar casserole and burgers. For kids there is a two-course children's menu.
