Snow fell through the night in La Plagne bringing up to 5cm of fresh at main resort level. We’re expecting further falls on and off through this morning, adding to the already significant cover around the area – currently 185cm at 3000m, 120cm at 2000m and 40cm at 1250m. Most forecasts seem to suggest a clear day tomorrow before fairly unsettled conditions return with sun and snow lasting into next week.
Conditions across the resort are just about perfect as we finally near the end of the busy February mid-term holiday period. The next few weeks in the run-up to Easter are traditionally some of the quietest of the season so, with great snow and minimal queues, now might just be the time for that sneaky trip away.
