- "Great to be back in La Plagne with VIP. Como suite was fantastic and we were well looked after by Tamsin who cooked well and kept an immaculate chalet. Hoping to be back next year!" - Customer Feedback
- "We have all really enjoyed our holiday, which is our second with VIP Ski. Tamsin, our chalet host, was brilliant. Nothing was too much trouble and she cooked delicious meals for the kids and teamed up with Amilia from Garda so that all the adults in our group could eat together. We had two nannies, Natalie and Lilly, who together looked after all six children, picking them up from their ski lessons then giving them lunch and doing a range of great activities, indoor and out in the afternoon. The whole holiday went smoothly and we all had a fantastic week. We'll be back again I'm sure!" - Customer Feedback
- "Thank you for another fab holiday in La Plagne. Tamsin was an excellent host. We particularly appreciated her flexibility around mealtimes for us and our children. Megan kept Tom and Sophie entertained when they were not skiing and she also learnt quickly about our son's cerebral palsy and how best to support him and include him in all activities. We have already booked for next year!" - Customer Feedback

Family friendly 1800 offers a small, beginners ski area, where lessons take place, whilst the Melezes and 1800 chairlifts connect the village with the rest of the resort via Plagne Centre and Aime 2000 respectively. The runs back into the village from the surrounding area are a mixture of reds and blues offering wide highway pistes and narrower winding ones, these runs can become busy and somewhat messy in peak season as they are high traffic areas, but with care and a little off-piste can provide access to – or close to most accommodation.

Atmospheric La Mine, hung with old mining equipment and paraphernalia is the undisputed centre of 1800’s nightlife, providing a warm welcome to locals, tourists and seasonaires alike. The staff are friendly, the beer is good, the live music is loud and there’s always something going on, you might find them hosting a quarter pipe and rail jam out on their front deck! For more nightlife you’d have to head to out to the other villages, easy to do as the shuttle buses run until after midnight and the good news is if you miss the last one from Plagne Centre at least it’s a down hill walk (or sledge) home.
