La Plagne Snow Report: 25th February 2014

Plenty more snow on the cards this week :-)

The Crystal Ski team were enjoying a break between runs in Champagny yesterday. It looks more like a spring day than mid February. If you're in La Plagne already you'll have to make the most of the sun this morning as more snow is forecast for the rest of this week.

Take a look at this video from Mads Boisen to see what conditions on the pistes have been like this week...

More snow is going to fall tonight (around 10 cm overnight) carrying on into tomorrow, then a repeat this on Thursday night into Friday, and then the same again on Saturday night into Sunday.

Temperatures are going to get pretty chilly heading into the weekend, dropping to around -10 degrees C, so don't forget to pack extra layers, as well as low-light goggle lenses as the visibility won't be great with all those snow clouds.

Resorts across the Alps are still busy with Parisien half term holiday makers, but the crowds should be easing off again after this weekend. Here's to having a bit more space on the pistes, in the cafes & restaurants and some more quiet time on the mountain to enjoy the views!
