Time to Start Getting Ski Fit for Winter

It's that time of year when the nights are drawing in, the clocks are about to go back and everyone's thoughts are turning to skiing or snowboarding in the winter ahead.

What better time of year then, to start thinking about getting those tired legs ready for lots of skiing and snowboarding, and to get your general fitness levels cranked up a gear.

You can find lots of useful tips and suggestions in our dedicated Ski Fitness section where you'll also find a few videos from our friends at the Clinique du Sport.

The Clinique du Sport have been running 'Ski Fit' training sessions for some time now, with classrooms packed with people wanting to get their legs and bodies ready for the season ahead. Last year they branched out into the world of apps and this year they've got an even wider selection of apps and videos for you to use.

As well as the Ski Fit programme, they've just launched 'SkiFit 8' an 8 minute blaster session which is live on the app store and google play now. On top of this they've also developed 'TriFit' and 'RunFit', and for those of you partial to a bit of Cycling, 'BikeFit' will be making an appearance in the New Year.
