British skier in fatal accident in La Plagne
Sad news as a female skier died after crashing into a tree
Sad news has come to light this morning that a 52 year old British skier died in a skiing accident in La Plagne yesterday.
Local paper Le Dauphine reports that the woman was skiing on a blue piste in Belle Plagne, and apparently somehow lost control and crashed into a tree.
Despite the rescue teams arriving on site very quickly, they were unable to resuscitate her.
Our thoughts go out to her family and friends at this sad time.
